"The Trunk of Memories" explains what happens in the minds of older adults who have retired from their working lives because society deems them tired and obsolete. Their minds are fragile, and with the loneliness they live in, the confinement due to the pandemic, and the loss of their daily routine, it is easy for them to immerse themselves in memories of the past (in the trunk). The family, represented by the little figures at the top of the trunk, plays an important role in not letting that box close and in keeping their parents and grandparents aware of the current reality. The cat in the sky replaces the moon, symbolizing madness, the loss of reason, if the trunk closes; it symbolizes the fragility of the minds of the elderly. The upside-down world represents the delirious state some of them live in, caused by loneliness. The main character has one eye closed, reminiscent of those who couldn't keep the trunk open and lost their sanity; the open eye represents those who continue in the present reality, sharing the wisdom acquired over the years.
 
"El baul de recuerdos" (Pintura al oleo) explica lo que sucede en la mente de los adultos mayores que se han retirado de su vida laboral porque la sociedad los considera cansados y obsoletos. Sus mentes son frágiles, y con la soledad en la que viven, el confinamiento debido a la pandemia y la pérdida de su rutina de vida, es fácil para ellos encerrarse en los recuerdos del pasado (en el baúl). La familia, representada por los hombrecillos en la parte superior del baúl, juega un papel importante para no dejar que esa caja se cierre, y mantener a sus padres y abuelos con los ojos abiertos a la realidad actual. El gato en el cielo sustituye a la luna, y representa la locura, la pérdida de la razón, si el baúl se cierra; simboliza la fragilidad de la mente de los ancianos. El mundo al revés representa el estado de delirio que viven algunos de ellos, provocado por la soledad. El personaje principal tiene un ojo cerrado, recordando a aquellos que no pudieron mantener el baúl abierto, y perdieron la razón; el ojo abierto a quienes continúan en la realidad presente, compartiendo la sabiduría adquirida con los años.
